Experience the Best of Nashville: Beyond Broadway - Music, Museums, Parks, Food & More!

Nashville, also known as “Music City,” is a popular tourist destination in the United States. While there are many attractions to enjoy, one of the most iconic is Broadway. Broadway is a street in downtown Nashville that is famous for its live music venues, honky-tonks, and bars. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone interested in country music, nightlife, and southern culture. Broadway is a vibrant and exciting place to visit, with neon lights illuminating the street and music pouring out of every single establishment. Visitors can listen to live music from country to rock, blues to jazz, and everything in between. The street is lined with restaurants serving up delicious southern cuisine, and bars offering refreshing drinks and friendly conversations.

But Nashville has more to offer beyond Broadway. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a must-visit for any music lover, and it’s just a short walk from Broadway. The museum features exhibits on the history of country music, including its origins, legends, and contemporary stars. The Ryman Auditorium, also known as the “Mother Church of Country Music,” is another famous Nashville landmark located downtown. It’s a historic venue that has hosted many legendary artists and is a must-visit spot for anyone who has an interest in music history!

For those looking to experience the great outdoors, Nashville is home to several beautiful parks, including Centennial Park and the Shelby Bottoms Greenway. The Centennial Park is home to the famous Parthenon replica of the ancient Greek Parthenon located in Athens. It was originally built for the 1897 Centennial Exposition, the Nashville Parthenon now serves as an art museum and culture center. The Parthenon also houses a 42-foot tall statue of the Greek goddess Athena, which is the largest indoor sculpture in the Western Hemisphere. Another great outdoor experience is the Percy Warner Park which offers hiking and mountain biking trails!

For those who are interested in food, Nashville has a thriving culinary scene. Hot chicken is a local specialty, and there are many restaurants that serve this iconic Nashville dish. The city has a wide variety of other cuisines to explore, including barbecue, Southern comfort food, and international flavors. Five restaurants that are tourist staples here in Nashville would be Hatties B’s Hot Chicken, Martin's Bar-B-Que joint, Loveless Cafe, Pancake Pantry, and Monell’s Dining & Catering.

While Broadway seems to be a popular attraction, Nashville is a vibrant and exciting city with many fun touristy things to offer beyond Broadway!
